North Shore Veterinary Hospital Veterinary Specialist Centre (NSVSC) is seeking enthusiastic, client-focused Veterinarians to join our growing Emergency and Critical Care team. You will join a team of vets striving to provide gold standard care for our clients. We encourage professional development and provide ongoing CE through our highly experienced veterinarian team. Our ECC team works closely and collaboratively with all the other hospital units, with backup support from Specialists when required. We have shifts available through a 24/7 roster. In addition, we have in recent months expanded our service to include weekday ECC services during business hours.
Our hospital is state of the art, purpose-built facility that opened in 2019 after relocation from our previous site. We have a range of equipment, including;
- Onsite 128 slice CT
- Onsite 1.5T MRI unit. (opened March 2022)
- 4 Theatres, 11 consulting rooms
- Dedicated ICU unit
- Medical ventilators
- In-house laboratory
- TEG machine
- Ultrasonography
We are situated on Sydney's Lower North Shore, with excellent access to public transport and amenities. We are on the gateway to the beautiful Northern Beaches and Northern Suburbs of Sydney, where you will find excellent access to our door pursuits such as surfing, biking and walking. This role will suit a Veterinarian who has had several years in a busy GP service or worked in an ECC hospital. We are happy to take on a candidate that can fill one shift a fortnight through to full-time roles. It is a role suited to those veterinarians who would like to increase their skills and knowledge in a caring, supportive environment.
