Veterinarian Surgeon

James Street Vet is situated in the township of Beenleigh situated halfway between bustling Brisbane CBD and the beautiful Gold Coast.  The clinic is a large busy hospital with a fun friendly team.

We are pleased to announce a new opportunity for a Veterinarian Surgeon, with reproductive experience or strong interest in reproductive care.  This role can offer part time or full time, with work/life balance flexibility.  

• Have you ever had the warm fussy feeling knowing you help make these beautiful puppies?
• Have you ever felt excited when you saw a pregnancy scan and see the foetuses forming?
• Have you ever been fascinated by those little heart beats and little limbs moving around mummy's belly?

As our new Veterinarian, you will get to experience all these little moments. We assist breeders producing quality offspring that will become a well-loved member for another family. We want to make sure these beloved new babies will live a long healthy life and create lots of beautiful memories with their family.

Services include Breeding Management Plans, Artificial Inseminations with either fresh, chilled or frozen semen, Canine semen collection and freezing with on-site secure storage, Fertility and pre-breeding health exams on dogs and dam, Semen shipments nationally or internationally, Ovulating timing (in-house progesterone testing), Elective caesareans, Pregnancy diagnosis via ultrasound, Authorised collectors for DNA testing.  Training can be provided.

About You

• Veterinarian with experience or strong interest in reproductive care
• Ability to work autonomously by overseeing service flow as a valued team member
• High attention to detail and passionate about high quality clinical care
• Excellent communication and customer experience service skills
• Interest in ongoing education and service improvements.
