Riverbank Animal Hospital has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced small animal veterinarian to work in our popular three vet regional practice.

A little bit about us:    

   

  • We are a large, purpose-built hospital, with three consulting rooms, spacious treatment room including wet prep area, two theatres, and separate dog, cat, and isolation wards.  The building has main street frontage and private rear parking. 
  • We’re a fun, friendly, supportive bunch of three vets and five experienced nurses and pride ourselves on our high standards of care and local reputation. 
  • We take a team-based approach to medicine and surgery and there is plenty of scope to bring your interests or ideas. We have excellent workflow and all the equipment and tools you need, including in-house haematology and biochemistry, IM3 dental equipment with dental radiography, digital radiography, ultrasound, tonometry and more.
  • We have a varied caseload including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, reptiles, wildlife, and the occasional fish. We provide the veterinary services for The Rabbit Sanctuary, which will suit anyone with a special interest in rabbits!
  • Our shifts are generally between 8:00-17:30 across 3-4 days per week. The practice offers shared paid after hours including a 4-hour Saturday shift on a 1:3 basis to support our close community.  
  • We encourage your interests and areas of expertise, have in-clinic VIN access, offer generous CPD allowance and study leave as well as online learning and free access to our veterinary training centres.

  • Salary negotiable on your experience, plus healthy AH benefits to boost your income.
