Vet Nurse | Brisbane | 4-Day Week

We’re a Brisbane GP veterinary clinic in an exciting stage of growth — building a team, refining how we work, and creating a practice we can be genuinely proud of for the long term.

We’re growing our team, developing our systems, investing in our equipment and creating a practice where great patient care and great people can genuinely coexist.

And we’re looking for a Vet Nurse who wants to be part of that from the ground up.

This isn’t a role where you’ll simply turn up, do what you’re told and go home.

We want someone who brings experience, confidence, ideas and initiative. Someone who cares about doing things well, enjoys being part of a team and wants to have a genuine voice in how we continue to build the practice.

Our Head Nurse is highly experienced across both GP and emergency nursing, with particular strength in anaesthesia. She’s the kind of person who will genuinely invest in you, share her knowledge and support your development.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has 2+ years of qualified GP veterinary nursing experience
• Is confident working independently
• Has solid clinical nursing skills and enjoys using them
• Is comfortable with anaesthesia, surgery, hospital nursing and general GP duties
• Communicates brilliantly with clients, vets and other nurses
• Enjoys mentoring and supporting junior team members
• Takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about patient outcomes
• Is proactive and happy to take ownership
• Isn’t afraid to ask questions or challenge the status quo
• Actively contributes ideas and isn’t afraid to say, “What if we did this differently?”
• Wants to build something for the long term rather than simply looking for the next 12 months
• Cares about being part of a team and contributing to the wider community

You don’t need to know everything. You just need to be someone who wants to keep learning, contribute, and make things better.
