You’ll step into a hands-on leadership role within a close-knit team, guiding and supporting a predominantly small animal caseload—plus the occasional wildlife case to keep things interesting. About You

You are a confident and compassionate clinician who leads with empathy and clear communication. You enjoy mentoring others and are committed to excellence in patient care and team wellbeing.

You hold a BVSc, DVM, or equivalent recognised in Australia, with at least five years of clinical experience and a track record of mentoring or supporting less senior colleagues. You’re registered, or eligible to register, with the Veterinary Surgeons’ Board of Western Australia

About the Role

This is a hands-on clinical leadership role, not an administrative one. You’ll spend most of your week in consults and theatre, with the mentoring, standards work, and culture-building happening alongside the medicine rather than instead of it. Day-to-day, you’ll be working a varied small animal caseload with clients who trust your judgement and back considered diagnostics. You’ll mentor the team through complex cases, refine clinical standards, and help shape the direction of a clinic that’s already well-regarded locally.
