School Hours Veterinarian – Coast Animal Health Lakehaven

At Coast Animal Health Lakehaven, we are seeking a School Hours Veterinarian to join our warm, collaborative, and community-focused team. This role is ideal for a veterinarian returning to the workforce or looking for flexibility and balance, while still delivering high-quality patient care and continuing to grow professionally.

The Opportunity:

This role has been thoughtfully designed to support a smooth and confident return to clinical practice.

• School hours only – no weekends, no after-hours, and no staying back

• Flexible part-time hours – 1 to 3 days per week

• Gradual caseload progression, starting with routine consults and building up to more complex cases

• Structured training and development through our Veterinary Training Centre

• Opportunity to work across nearby sister clinics for additional mentoring and exposure

You will enjoy a varied caseload including small animal general practice, wildlife cases, consultations, and surgery.

About Our Hospital:

Coast Animal Health Lakehaven has recently undergone a refurbishment, transforming our clinic into a modern, state-of-the-art veterinary hospital designed with both team and patient care in mind.

Our facilities include:

• Four consultation rooms

• Spacious reception and client waiting area

• Two sterile surgical theatres

• Large treatment room

• Separate cat and dog hospital wards

• Digital imaging suite with X-ray and ultrasound
