Yeronga Vet have a great opportunity for a highly motivated Cert IV Vet Nurse to join our incredible team. This is a part time position for Wed 8-6pm and Sat 8-1pm.

We are a small animal practice located in the beautiful suburb of Fairfield, South Brisbane.  We are a two vet per day practice supported by a fun and friendly nursing team, serving our loyal community of clients.  Our team pride themselves on pet wellness, genuine client relationships and a relaxed collaborative culture.

About The Role

• Work alongside four great vets and experienced nursing team
• Provide high standards of client and patient care
• Manage admission and discharge processes
• Confident with surgery nursing and anaesthesia, IV catheter placement, blood draws, dental care and administering medications
• Assisting with diagnostic imaging (x-rays and ultrasounds)
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to take initiative
• Enjoys a stress-free environment for both patients and team members

About You

• Certificate IV Vet Nurse
• Minimum 1 year experience post qualification 
• Experience with or open to learning RxWorks or EzyVet
• Available to work Wed 8-6pm and Sat 8-1pm
• Genuine passion for animals and our industry
