Experienced Veterinary Nurse Wanted – Thornleigh Veterinary Hospital

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated veterinary team on a full-time or part-time basis.

This is an opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative clinical environment where patient care and client communication are at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role

As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care across a variety of clinical cases. Your day-to-day duties will include surgical and medical nursing, anaesthetic monitoring, patient recovery, diagnostic support, and client education.

You’ll work closely with veterinarians and fellow nurses to ensure the highest standard of care for every patient.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in veterinary nursing

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification

• Strong anaesthetic monitoring and surgical nursing skills

• Confident handling of medical and post-operative patients

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Calm, organised, and able to work independently

• Genuine passion for animal care and welfare
