Vetwest Canning Vale are seeking an experienced, self motivated veterinary nurse to join their energetic, dynamic team.

Vetwest Canning Vale is a busy hospital with a large team of vets and nurses. Every day is unique with a diverse range of surgeries and medical cases to keep things interesting. The successful candidate should display initiative and want the opportunity to nurse at a higher level, utilising their existing skills as well as continuing to learn and develop new ones. We offer support, training and encourage continuing education.

About you Essential:

· Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or the equivalent

· A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a veterinary nursing role

· VSB registration which you will be reimbursed for.

The successful applicant will possess the ability to:

· Work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

· Remain calm and react quickly in stressful and emergency situations.

. An interest in training less experience team members

. Enjoy surgical and hospital nursing

· Display a high degree of empathy and understanding towards the needs of the patients, the clients, and the veterinary health care team.
