Your New Chapter: 
 We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team in the role of Business Development and Marketing Manager.
The role is responsible for two key areas: development of the brand, marketing and external relationships of the organisation, as well as development of our internal effectiveness and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your week will be varied and interesting, either out on the road meeting with referring veterinarians, organising internal events to build relationships the veterinary community, mapping out your own PR and branding strategy, identifying opportunities to be more effective as a business, and engaging our wider team in the success of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities: 
Business Development: 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and key stakeholders with a particular focus on referring veterinarians
  • Establish systems to provide better data to analyse strategies that provide the optimal return on investment
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, industry analysis and networking.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on business development and marketing activities to management.
  • Help engage the wider team in the success of the organisation by providing regular, approachable and engaging updates on your progress and activities
Marketing and Brand Strategy and Delivery: 
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional platforms
  • Identify opportunities for brand enhancement and implement strategies to strengthen brand presence.
  • Visit vet clinics as well as facilitating onsite events to build relationships with referring vets, utilising the expertise of our specialists to encourage engagement
Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency, with a focus on workflow and systems improvement
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, emerging opportunities and technologies that could assist our team in providing exceptional patient and client care
  • Engage the team, with support from the leadership team, to successfully implement continuous improvement initiatives
Our ideal candidate: 
  • Qualifications in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • PR experience in business development, relationship management or marketing roles.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship building skills
  • An interest in continuous improvement, finding efficiencies, and ensuring effectiveness of systems and workflow. Experience working with Lean Six Sigma or similar models would be advantageous but training can be provided.
  • An proactive, problem solving mindset, committed to finding novel solutions and autonomously bringing them to life
  • Experience in IT and/or systems would be advantageous to some of our opportunities for improvement
