Experienced Veterinarian 

Better Pet Vets is looking for a full-time experienced Veterinarian to join our team, located in Mackay, Queensland, Australia. 

Mackay is a fantastic place to live and work. Only a short 90-minute drive to beautiful Airlie Beach and the award-winning Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef. 

Sunny one day, fantastic the next. Brisbane is only a short 1.5-hour flight from Mackay. 

The position 

We are looking for a fabulous vet to join our fun, happy and close-knit team, of skilled veterinarians, nurses, and receptionists. 

You will need to hold a bachelor’s degree or higher qualification, as well as a minimum of 4 years' work experience. 

You will also need to hold a current registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland. Better Pet Vets is a progressive, well-equipped practice with our hospital being a purpose built, modern building. 

Our ideal candidate is fun, organised, communicates well with the team, and loves to build relationships with the clients.

• A competitive Salary commensurate to your experience, between $90,000 - $120,000. (Excluding super and other bonuses and afterhours compensation)
