About us 

Vetwest Animal Hospital Ellenbrook proudly offers veterinary care to the areas surrounding the busy Ellenbrook city centre. Reaching as far North as Bindoon, East to Midland and Chittering, South to Ballajura and West to Wanneroo and many suburbs in between. Our aim is to provide a friendly work environment with an emphasis on high standards of care and continuing education.   

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinarian to join our clinic on a full-time OR part-time basis. We are looking for a competent Veterinarian to be a part of our existing hard working, dedicated and friendly team. Our team is always striving to improve the lives of our patients and offer the highest standards of care. We endeavour to support each individual and drive their career development into the areas that their interests lie.   

Our Clinic:   

We have a modern purpose-built clinic with a dedicated surgical suite, x-ray room, large treatment room and various consult rooms.  Ideally Ellenbrook's runs with at least 2 vets a day.   

Our hospital offers equipment includes:   

• Digital Radiology
• My Lab 5 ultrasound
• IDEXX in house Pathology
• IM3 dental machine
• Surgivet patient monitoring systems
• Blood pressure, ECG and C02 monitoring systems.

Our team provides general health checks, vaccinations, sterilisations, dental procedures and complex surgeries. We are currently open 5 days a week.

What we are looking for:   

• BVSc or equivalent, and registration to practice in Western Australia
• A confident Veterinarian with a minimum of 2 years’ practical experience
• Someone who enjoys being busy, facilitating a varied and exciting case load
• A commitment to provide exceptional patient and client care
• Ability to work autonomously or in a team
• Exceptional communication and client relationship building skills
