We are looking for a qualified veterinary nurse.

If you: 
• Have a Certificate IV in Vet Nursing or equivalent 
• Work well in a team environment 
• Have good communication and customer service skills 
• Are reliable, punctual and hard working 
• Are able to work hard and remain cheerful under pressure 
• Are proactive and observant 
• Special interest in working with cats will be an advantage

Your duties will include: 
• Assisting vets with animals during examination 
• Preparing medications 
• Preparing animals for surgery 
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment 
• Monitoring patients during anaesthesia 
• Providing post operative care 
• Administering medications 
• Running in-house lab tests 
• Keeping pets comfortable and clean 
• Discharging routine surgery patients 
• Occasionally helping with reception work
