Hall Veterinary Surgery is seeking a Full-Time Head Vet Nurse to lead our dedicated nursing team and play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care. This is a wonderful opportunity for a confident, supportive nurse who enjoys mentoring others and being hands-on in a busy, well-respected clinic.
About the Role – concerns re the responsibilities
As Head Vet Nurse, you’ll work closely with our vets and management team to:
Support our nursing team, including mentoring and training nurses
Provide clinical veterinary nursing care at a senior/advanced level
Maintain high clinical and patient care standards
Support the Practice Manager in overseeing daily nursing operations and workflows
Be hands-on across surgery, anaesthesia, hospital care and client support
Contribute to training and continuous improvement within the clinic – (remove the word training as already mentioned above)
About You
Certificate IV or higher relevant qualification in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) (as required) with minimum 2 years experience
Previous leadership or senior nursing experience (highly regarded)
Strong clinical skills and a calm, organised approach
A positive, team-focused leader who leads by example
Excellent communication and a genuine passion for patient care
