Albany Creek Veterinary Surgery (ACVets) is looking for a full-time small animal veterinarian to join our team of 10 vets and 14 nurses to help with our ever-growing client base as one of our vets leaves to care for a family member. The position comprises a 38 hour work week with 4 days during the week, and 2 out of 5 Saturdays. We have no afterhours (!) and maintain a very healthy relationship with multiple close referral and emergency hospitals.

ACVets has been operating for over 30 years, and are lucky to have a great client base with pet owners who are committed to the health and care of their pets, and value the same level of commitment from us. We value good quality, hard work, but also fun!

 We are equipped with a range of inhouse blood machines (Catalyst Dx, ProCyte Dx, SediVue Dx and UA, CoAg, SNAPshot Dx) to assist with work ups, as well as a Fuji digital X-Raw developer with new floating X-Ray table and machine, CR 35 digital dental X-ray, MyLab ultrasound, a Doppler blood pressure system, tonometry and microscopy. 

 Clinic opening hours are from Monday to Friday 7:30am to 6pm, and Saturday 8:30am to 4pm.

 About You

- A compassionate, enthusiastic vet that is keen to participate day-to-day in a team environment 

- Ideally an experienced veterinarian, however new graduates will be considered

- Good communication skills (both with clients and within the team)

- Someone looking to practice good medicine and diagnostic work ups for their patients

- A positive, can-do attitude

- A sense of humour

- Someone who takes pride in their standard of work

- Enthusiastic, compassionate, motivated

 The position;

- Experience preferred however new and recent graduates are encouraged to apply

- Salary is above award depending on experience
