Frenchs Forest Veterinary Hospital is a genuine family feel clinic on the stunning Northern Beaches in Sydney NSW.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced veterinarian to take on the role of Lead Veterinarian on a full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to take on the clinical leadership of this highly regarded and established practice.

  • We have a close relationship with veterinary specialist hospitals in the area who provide us support through knowledge and services. These include Northside Veterinary Specialists (NVS), Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH) and North Shore Veterinary Specialist & Emergency Centre.

Opening Hours:

  • Monday – Friday : 8am – 6pm
  • Saturdays : 8am – 1pm

  • We are members of the Northside Emergency Veterinary Service (NEVS) for transfer of any critical patients and after-hours care.

What we are looking for:

  • Veterinarian with BVSc or equivalent degree, and registration to practice in New South Wales with at least 3 years clinical experience.
  • Interested in managing a mixed surgical and consulting case load, with the ability to work up cases thoroughly
  • Keen interest and skill in surgery (basic orthopaedic skills favourable but not essential)
  • Competency in all areas of general practise
  • Enthusiastic and compassionate team leader with a good sense of humour
  • Passionate about delivering high quality patient care and client communication
  • Excellent time management skills
