Full-Time Multi-Site Practice Manager (Maternity Leave Cover)
Opportunity for Ongoing Employment

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Multi-Site Practice Manager to join our veterinary group on a full-time maternity leave contract, supporting Toowoomba Veterinary Hospital, Gatton Veterinary Surgery and Herriot House Veterinary Surgery. For the right candidate, there is strong potential for permanent employment beyond the contract period.

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and enjoys working across multiple clinics to support teams, drive operational excellence and enhance patient and client care.

About the Role

Working closely with the leadership team and veterinarians, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of all three clinics, ensuring smooth, efficient and consistent business performance. This role requires regular travel between practices and a hands-on, collaborative management style.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership and support of nursing, reception and support teams

• Staff rostering, performance management and team development

• Overseeing clinic operations, policies and procedures

• Financial oversight including budgets, KPIs and reporting

• Recruitment, onboarding and staff engagement initiatives

• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards

• Supporting a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture

About You

• Proven experience in practice management (veterinary or healthcare preferred)

• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

• Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities effectively

• Confident with budgets, reporting and operational KPIs

• A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach

• Passion for team development and exceptional client care
