Blockhouse Bay Veterinary Centre in Auckland have a great opportunity for a Small Animal Veterinarian to join our experienced and supportive multi-vet team

The role

Full time positon 77.5 hours per fortnight 
Shared Saturday roster - No after hours, on-call, Sundays or public holidays
Daily block for phone calls/case follow up/research
20 min standard consults  
One hour lunch break

You’ll be joining a large team of  vets and experienced veterinary nurses/support staff  which means there is plenty of support in the clinic each day. 

About the clinic & team  

We’re a friendly bunch and enjoy lots of shared laughter (and lunches). We have a large staff room complete with a treat drawer and Nespresso machine (free coffee!)

Friendly and highly skilled nursing support staff 

Supportive team – regularly discuss individual case management, Vets have overlap in the break time in the middle of day to discuss cases/handover cases

Our spacious clinic is air-conditioned throughout, 3 consult rooms, purpose-built prep area with non-sterile surgical table, anaesthetic machine and new sterile surgical suite

Lots of toys including IM3 dental machine, im3 dental xray suite, Digital xrays, In house laboratory - chemistry blood machine, IDEXX chem, CBC machine, InVue slide reader, new Olympus microscope, urinalysis equipment plus ultrasound
