Position: Full Time Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist
We’re on the lookout for a Full-Time Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist to join our friendly, customer focused team at Clayfield Veterinary Surgery! If you have a genuine love for animals and a talent for providing exceptional service, we’d love to hear from you.
As an essential member of our professional, compassionate team, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding care to our clients and their cherished pets. You’ll help create a welcoming and supportive environment where both pets and their owners feel valued and well looked after.

Experience in a receptionist/client services role within a veterinary practice or medical environment is preferred. However, we are keen to hear from candidates with extensive customer service experience in other industries.
Knowledge of RxWorks or ezyVet is an advantage, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
Essential Criteria:
Cert IV or Equivalent
Passionate and committed to providing excellent care for both our patients and clients.
Exceptional communication skills with excellent written and spoken English.
Proven experience in a strong customer service role, with a focus on engagement and delivering a positive client experience.
A reliable, committed work ethic with a stable employment history.
Motivated, with high emotional intelligence and energy levels.
Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Word and Excel.
Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
A team player who can take direction and contribute to a positive working environment.
Adaptable to change and open to new processes and procedures.
Skilled in managing and engaging on social media platforms to enhance client interaction and engagement.
