Full Time Veterinarian

Sadly, one of our long-term team members has decided to head off to work in the UK, so we are looking for an experienced Veterinarian with a positive outlook and desire to keep learning. A bit about us and the role:

• Working with a team of 4 other vets (including membership holders), you have all the benefits of a close team, but with two other clinics nearby. (Kew Vet and Alphington & Fairfield Vet)
• The additional clinics offer the benefits of a larger team who support each other to provide high standards of care for our patients and clients.
• You will be exposed to a diverse caseload with clients willing and able to work cases up.
• Practice CVE and VIN memberships with a generous CPD allowance annually.
• We are family friendly and promote diversity in our teams.
• Access to our employee assistance program.
• Regular clinic meetings and vet team meetings give the opportunity to present new ideas, products, or standards of care.
• A shared Saturday roster (approx 1:4).
• No Sunday or Public Holiday work is required.

About you

• You have at least two years’ experience and a thirst to continue learning and developing.
• You enjoy building rapport with clients and aim to foster ongoing relationships.
• You love advocating for and providing high quality care to patients and delivering a great customer experience.
• You love sharing your knowledge and experience and get joy from helping your colleagues develop and build new skills.
• You have a positive outlook and enjoy working with a warm & genial team.
• You have the flexibility and adaptability to work with a large team from multiple locations.

Remuneration is above award and commensurate with experience.
