Facilities & Equipment

You will have access to industry-leading technology to support advanced emergency and critical care, including:

  • Advanced Imaging: CT (GE Optima), PET-CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, digital radiography, echocardiography, nuclear medicine, and access to high-field MRI
  • Critical Care & Treatment: Advanced monitoring, ICU support, endoscopy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and access to radiation therapy services
  • A fully equipped, multidisciplinary referral hospital environment                                                 

About the Role

As an ECC Veterinarian, you will:

  • Manage a diverse and high-acuity emergency caseload, including trauma and complex medical presentations
  • Perform triage, stabilisation, and ongoing management of emergency and hospitalised patients
  • Work closely with specialists across internal medicine, surgery, and oncology
  • Support inpatient care and continuity across departments
  • Contribute to a collaborative, team-based approach to patient outcomes 

Working hours:

  • Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
  • 8:00am – 6:00pm (day shifts only)

About You

  • Veterinary degree eligible for registration in Australia
  • Experience in emergency practice or strong GP experience with after-hours exposure
  • Confidence in triage, stabilisation, and emergency procedures (or strong desire to develop)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Calm, adaptable, and solutions-focused in high-pressure situations
  • Passion for ECC and delivering high-quality patient care
