Your Role:

As an Experienced Veterinary Nurse, you’ll have shared responsibilities across different clinic areas, ensuring a variety of tasks every day. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work in reception, hospital care, team consulting, and surgery, making it ideal for someone with a diverse skill set and passion for animal care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception: Provide excellent customer service by welcoming clients, managing appointments, assisting with patient intake, and handling administrative tasks such as billing and follow-ups.

  • Hospital Care: Monitor hospitalised patients, administer treatments and medications, and ensure a clean, safe environment for recovery.

  • Team Consulting: Assist veterinarians during consultations, take patient histories, prepare animals for exams, and educate clients about treatment options and aftercare.

  • Surgery: Prepare surgical suites, assist with anaesthesia and monitoring, support during surgeries, and provide post-operative care.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in veterinary nursing, with exposure to multiple areas (reception, hospital care, consulting, and surgery).

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing is preferred, but not required.

  • Strong knowledge of veterinary procedures and excellent animal care skills.

  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

  • Compassionate, professional, and adaptable attitude with a genuine passion for working with animals.

  • Flexible approach to working hours, with availability for evening and weekend shifts as needed.
