About the role:
- In this role, you'll utilize both consulting and surgical skills weekly, with an excellent balance between the two.
- 100% Small Animal Practice with varied case load
- Great work/life balance – 30-35 hours per week across a 4 day week
- 50/50 split between our Point Chev & Royal Oak locations
- 1:4 Saturday roster no after hours, Sunday or public holiday work
- Flexible rostering/shifts and hours to suit the right applicant, We believe that in the veterinary industry the work/life balance has never been so important!
A bit about us:
At Veterinary Care you will join a fantastic, dedicated team of Vets, Nurses and support staff. We have been providing care for Auckland Pets for over 20 years at our group of 3 clinics - Point Chev, Balmoral and Royal Oak. - We pride ourselves on looking after our staff well, so we can offer the highest standard of veterinary care we have become known for. Our team have the same common goal of providing gold-standard care to our patients and clients.
- Our clinics are all equipped with state of the art in house blood analysers, digital radiography, dental radiography, and an internal ultrasound referral process run out of our Point Chev clinic.
- Cases are varied and thorough work-ups encouraged. You'll enjoy great support from existing staff and referral clinics are readily available when needed.
What we are looking for:
- A Small Animal Veterinarian with ideally 3 + years experience, confident with consults, routine surgery and dentistry and comfortable with some sole charge
- A warm, friendly personality who loves working as part of a team
- New Zealand recognised Veterinary qualification to be able to practice in New Zealand.
