Figtree Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Practice Coordinator on a full-time or part-time basis. This is a hands-on leadership role, focused on mentoring our nursing team, shaping clinic culture, and keeping operations running smoothly.

Figtree Veterinary Clinic in Lane Cove provides modern, professional, and gold-standard health care for pets in our community of long-standing clients. With a caring and gentle approach to treatment and consultations, we aim to make our clients and patients feel at ease within the clinic.

We’re a small team that strives for excellent veterinary medicine for our patients and outstanding service to our clients. We have the use of in-house pathology (Idexx laboratory equipment), ultrasound, digital radiography, dental radiography and 30-minute consultations. The dedicated staff and leading veterinarians are avid animal lovers who can provide a wide range of treatment options, as well as access to local referral hospitals with whom we share a professional relationship.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and mentor our veterinary nurses and support staff

  • Oversee daily clinic operations, rostering, and workflow

  • Provide guidance and training to support professional growth

  • Help maintain exceptional standards of client & patient care and clinic efficiency

  • Occasionally provide clinical support when needed

  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and supplier management

  • Support implementation and maintenance of clinic policies and procedures

  • Work with the leadership team to monitor and improve practice performance

About You

  • Qualified Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV or equivalent)

  • Experienced in nursing and ready to step into a leadership role

  • Strong organisational, communication, and mentoring skills

  • Positive, proactive, and team-focused

  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets is highly desirable
