Oncology Internship Opportunity

The Oncology Network for Excellence (ONE) is the leading comprehensive cancer service in Australia, dedicated to delivering the best possible outcomes for their patients and clients. They pride themselves on providing a true comprehensive and collaborative approach to veterinary oncology with services across Sydney. 

ONE Cancer Care is now seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic veterinarian to join the dedicated team as a Veterinary Oncology Intern.  

The opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to advance your career in a leading oncology specialist network. The position is based in Sydney with the opportunity of rotating through our 3 locations across Sydney: North Shore Veterinary Specialist & Emergency Centre, Sydney Veterinary Emergency & Specialists & The Pet Specialists.

This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a comprehensive medical and radiation oncology service.  You will work closely with our experienced team including 2 Oncology specialists, 2 medical oncology residents and speciality trained support team. 

There is the potential for an internship position to be followed by a medical oncology residency program for the right candidate.

About you:
•    Qualified veterinarian with eligibility to be registered in New South Wales
•    MANZCVS in Small Animal Medicine or intention to sit is preferred but not essential
•    Excellent communication skills, a team player with a passion for veterinary excellence and comprehensive patient care
•    Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure
