Vets4Pets are looking for a Lead Vet to take over the running of our Golden Grove hospital on a day-to-day basis located in Adelaide, South Australia!
 
Our large team of over twenty vets across seven sites provides a vibrant supportive professional community within which to work and learn. Professional interests within the practice include canine and feline internal medicine, exotic and pocket pet medicine and surgery, oncology, diagnostic imaging, neurology, orthopaedic surgery, dentistry (including endodontics), acupuncture and behaviour therapy.

You will be supported by a team of highly trained and enthusiastic vets/ nurses and a clientele who truly value their pets. As a Clinical Leader, you will build upon the success of the current team and drive the clinic forward through:

Providing clinical leadership across the clinic, ensuring the provision of best practice patient care at all times.
Working with the Practice Manager to improve strategies to manage patient flow
Leading clinical standards and continue to build the culture of collaboration and excellence
Fostering and support the highest quality of teaching and mentoring of clinic staff.
Working closely with all colleagues and nurture a culture of collaboration and teamwork

About you:

You are an established vet with a minimum 2 years’ experience in small animals who enjoys leading a team or wants to develop their surgery experience
You are excited to take on the role of delivering high-end healthcare in an environment of collaboration and excellence
You are keen to take the next step in your career or continue to develop your skills within a large group of clinics
You are an exceptional team player, working alongside and supporting your colleagues

To be suitable for the role, you need to have a minimum relevant Veterinary bachelor’s degree or higher and at least 2 years of work experience.
