We currently have a position available for an awesome Head Vet Nurse in our busy and well-regarded surgery in Bli Bli. This position is for approximately 30-35 hours per week and includes Saturdays.   

We are looking for someone who gets excited about providing personalised customer service, loves taking on responsibility and wants to be a valued part of our passionate team. If you have an aptitude for learning and can think clearly in emergency situations, then this is the role for you.  

About you: 

·       Cert IV Vet Nurse 

·       Minimum 5 years vet nursing experience 

·       Passion for patient care and customer service 

·       Ability to motivate the team  

·       Drive efficiency and productivity 

·       Ability to mentor and provide coaching where needed 

·       An affinity with animals   

·       Accuracy and an eye for detail 

·       Ability to work to deadlines  

·       Good problem solving skills  

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills  

·       Be honest, reliable and respectful  

·       Self motivation  

·       Efficient time management  

·       A friendly personality and sense of humour  

·       Professional appearance and manner
