Part Time Veterinary Nurse   
Peninsula Vet Surgery offers a healthy work/life balance to enjoy the areas beautiful coastline, Moreton Bay, parklands and to get down and support our local Redcliffe Dolphins NRL team on your weekends off. That’s right NO WEEKENDS!!!.   
We are a small animal practice who have been caring for the pets on the Peninsula for the past 25years. Our team believe in offering compassionate care and high standards of veterinary medicine. A supportive team who believes our days should be as fun as they are full.   
We are looking for a positive, part time veterinary nurse looking for an exciting opportunity to join our team.   
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:   
  • Providing support to our veterinarians in all aspects of vet nursing
  • Provision of high standard patient and customer care
  • Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
  • Nurse Consultations
  • Assisting with reception and administration tasks as required
 To be successful for this role, you will have:   
  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing preferred or at least two years of experience.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures.
  • High patient care standards with good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team and genuinely be a team player.
  • Initiative and good time management skills.
  • Knowledge of Ezyvet is ideal but not essential.
