Are you a passionate, skilled Vet Nurse who loves what you do? We’re looking for a Part-time Vet Nurse to join our talented and dynamic team at Fairford Rd Animal Hospital.
Established in 1970, Fairford Road Animal Hospital has been part of the Bankstown and surrounding community for many years. In more recent times the hospital has been fully renovated, upgrading to the best possible facilities in which to provide animal care.
We offer an extensive range of Professional Veterinary Services, Animal Care Products and Boarding Facilities. Our qualified staff are passionate about animal health and continually complete further training and development to increase their knowledge and remain up to date with current products and procedures. We promote best practice for the pets we care for, as they are part of the Fairford Road Family.

What We’re Looking For:
A qualified Veterinary Nurse with relevant certifications.
Strong experience in nursing and handling a variety of cases.
A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
A genuine passion for animal care and a commitment to providing the best service to our clients and their pets.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
About The Role
Provide exceptional customer care and education to our clients
Support our Vets with routine examinations, diagnostics and procedures
Manage the admission and discharge of surgical and hospital cases
Provide surgical and hospital nursing including monitoring anaesthetics
Conduct blood collection and testing, iv catheter placement
Prepare and administer medications as required
Assist with x-rays, ultrasounds and dental procedures
Maintain surgical and treatment areas infection control
Provide pre and post compassionate care to hospitalised cases
General day to day nursing duties.
