Brisbane Veterinary Specialist Centre is looking for a RADIATION ONCOLOGIST or DUAL BOARDED RADIATION ONCOLOGY/MEDICAL ONCOLOGY SPECIALIST to join our team at the BRISBANE VETERINARY SPECIALIST CENTRE, located in Brisbane Qld.

Brisbane Veterinary Specialist Centre (BVSC) is a leading specialist veterinary hospital in Brisbane, Australia. With the exciting installation of a new Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator in 2023 and have an amazing opportunity for a specialist Veterinary Radiation Oncologist.
Brisbane Veterinary Specialist Centre (is a values-driven, purpose-built specialist veterinary hospital supported by an after-hours emergency and critical care service, all with a culture of providing speciality care with compassion. You would be joining an experienced, high performing, successful and collaborative team of committed veterinarians, technicians, nurses and administrative staff working in the fields of surgery, surgical oncology, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, internal medicine and ophthalmology as well as services in dentistry and physiotherapy to surround our patients with the best possible care. BVSC has strong relationships with the primary care veterinarians who chose to refer. Our case load is busy and varied. Our expert oncology team attracts cases from across Australasia and the entire hospital embraces innovation with a strong focus on fostering new ideas and ethical collaborative research with leading industry partners. We have an outstanding wellbeing program with Australia’s leading EAP service, a visiting counsellor and many other health and wellness initiatives designed to enhance the work experience for the entire team.
Ideally, candidates will hold DACVR (Radiation Oncology) or DECVR (Rad Onc) and be eligible for recognition by QVSB as a Radiation Oncology specialist or both Radiation Oncology and Medical Oncology specialist however, consideration will be given to those who are board eligible and scheduled to sit their examinations. They must be eligible to practice as a Veterinarian in Queensland.
