Surgery Team Leader – Perth Veterinary Specialists

We have a new, rare opportunity for an experienced surgical veterinary nurse with a passion for people to join our team of renowned specialists and talented support staff.  

This newly established role is a perfect combination of maintaining your surgical nursing skills as well as bringing your leadership skills to have a significant impact on the success of the surgery department and organisation as a whole.  

As a Team Leader you’ll be a key player in improving processes, communicating between departments, building a positive culture, and developing our team members to fulfil their potential.  

About you:  

We’re seeking an experienced surgical nurse, ideally from a specialist background or with significant GP experience and a willingness to learn and adapt to the nuances of specialty practice.  

You’ll have experience in a leadership role, and a passion for positive culture and continuous improvement.  

Exceptional communication skills, an interest in people, and skills in harnessing the power of relationships to create the best outcomes for patients, clients, and the team.  

As a new role, you’ll also need to bring your initiative, your focus on solutions, and a level of comfort with ambiguity while we all work together to successfully establish the foundations of this new role.
