Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with surgeries, anesthesia monitoring, and post-operative care
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as blood work, X-rays, and urinalysis
  • Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as prescribed
  • Provide emergency first aid and critical care when needed
  • Reception duties including answering calls, scheduling appointments, and managing patient bookings
  • Greet and assist clients with a warm, friendly approach, making them feel welcome and informed
  • Manage the front desk, process payments, and handle client inquiries
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in our system\
  • Promote and educate pet owners on preventative care, products, and services
  • Handle client concerns and provide support in a compassionate, professional manner
  • Provide care and comfort for pets and their owners during difficult times, including end-of-life discussions
What We’re Looking For:
  • Qualified Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology)
  • A strong passion for animal welfare and client care
  • Excellent communication skills with both animals and people
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as in a team
  • Previous experience with reception or customer service is highly valued
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility and willingness to pitch in with various tasks across the clinic
