Animal Doctors Waverley, located at 300 Bronte Road, is an award-winning veterinary clinic that has been proudly serving Waverley and surrounding communities for over 20 years. We provide comprehensive veterinary care, including dentistry, surgery, and puppy school, and operate Monday to Friday (8:00am–7:00pm) and Saturday (9:00am–12:00pm). Our clinic is known for its strong “family feel” and also offers mobile house calls.

The Opportunity

As Clinical Lead Veterinarian, you will play a key role in both clinical delivery and team leadership. This is an opportunity to influence the direction of the clinic while maintaining a strong focus on high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading from the front by delivering high-quality medical and surgical care
  • Mentoring and supporting GP veterinarians to build confidence and capability
  • Contributing to hospital leadership, including strategy, marketing, and team development
  • Supporting performance reviews, training, and development alongside the leadership team
  • Sharing knowledge and guidance with nurses and animal attendants

About You:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in small animal general practice
  • A confident veterinarian with strong leadership and mentoring capabilities

  • Eligible for full registration with the NSW Veterinary Practitioners Board
