Veterinary Radiographer – North Shore Veterinary Specialist & Centre

About Us:

North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre (NSVSC) was established in 2001 and is co-located with North Shore Veterinary Hospital (NSVH), which has served the community since 1935 as the oldest veterinary hospital on Sydney's North Shore. Our 24/7, year-round facility is home to specialists in surgery, emergency & critical care, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, oncology, dermatology, exotic species, and more, along with a bustling emergency department and progressive general practice.

In 2019, we moved to a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility featuring four custom-designed theatres, including one for orthopaedic surgery and another for soft tissue surgery. Our advanced diagnostic tools include fluoroscopy, digital X-ray, a 128 Slice GE CT scanner, two ultrasound rooms, and a 1.5T Siemens Sempra MRI.

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Radiographer to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, 4 days a week. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience and be proficient in CT and MRI, experience in the veterinary industry/animal health preferred but not essential.

The Opportunity:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional care to our small animal patients
• Managing the day-to-day operations of our imaging department
• Collaborating with team members across various disciplines
• Operating our 128 Slice GE CT scanner and 1.5T Siemens MRI
• Performing and interpreting radiographic exams to assist in diagnosis and treatment

About You:

To succeed in this role, you should have prior experience with both MRI and CT and a passion for working with animals. We value a team player who is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of patient care and is eager to be part of our collaborative team of specialists.
