VetPartners Australia Pty Ltd is looking for a Full-Time Veterinarian to join their team at North Shore Veterinary Specialist & Emergency Centre. NSVSEC was established in 2001 and is co-located with North Shore Veterinary Hospital. NSVH was built in 1935 and is the longest standing Veterinary hospital on the North Shore of Sydney. In early 2019 we moved to a brand-new state of the art, purpose-built facility. Our team is vibrant, friendly and passionate about the services we offer.
We are a 24/7, 365 day a year facility with specialists in:
- Critical Care
- Internal Medicine
- Surgery
- Diagnostic Imaging
- Ophthalmology
- Dermatology
- Dentistry
- Exotics
- A bustling and supportive emergency department
- A progressive general practice
We have:
- Full in-house laboratory facilities
- Comprehensive diagnostic imaging
- 2 ultrasound rooms
- Digital X-ray
- 128 Slice GE CT scanner
- 1.5T MRI
The successful candidate will work alongside the referral team including specialists in medicine, surgery and critical care as well as diagnostic imaging, ophthalmology, dentistry and exotics and small animals. You will form a close clinical relationship with the GP and out of hours emergency vets.
Located in the North Shore of Sydney we are the perfect base for beaches, sun and decent coffee.
The Opportunity
In your role as a registered practicing veterinarian you will rotate through surgery, internal medicine and ECC with exposure to other teams which overlap with some of the specialties. You will have the opportunity to further develop your EBVM and clinical skills whilst working alongside a large team of specialists, experienced GPs, out of hours vets, specialty nurses and participate in specialist led lectures and tutorials, CPR training, journal club and case presentations. Applicants that are keen to publish research will also be supported throughout the year.
The role includes 1 in 3 weekends. The position includes four weeks annual leave and one-week conference leave as well as a generous
study allowance. Remuneration is $72,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation depending on the skills, level and experience of the incoming candidate.

Candidates must hold a relevant Bachelor of Veterinary Science or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, have at least 2 years post-graduate work experience as and be eligible for veterinary registration in NSW.
