Position: Casual Locum Vet Nurse

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced vet nurse to join our passionate team and provide high-quality care to our patients.

If you are looking to pick up additional shifts this is the perfect role for you. Our team have shifts available throughout December and January for a casual locum vet nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the veterinary team in providing patient care and support during consultations and surgeries

• Perform routine nursing duties, including administering medications, vaccinations, and IV fluid therapy

• Assist with laboratory tests, radiographs, and diagnostic procedures

• Monitor patients pre- and post-operatively, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing

• Provide support and education to pet owners

• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinic administration

About You:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualifications

• Previous experience in a veterinary nurse role is preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team-focused attitude

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a variety of tasks

• A compassionate and caring approach to animal welfare

• Availability for flexible hours, including weekends if required
