Flinders View Veterinary Surgery is looking for a Clinical Lead Veterinarian to join our friendly team just a short drive west of Brisbane, Queensland.

About our clinic and the role
The team at Flinders View Veterinary Surgery have been providing outstanding medical care to our furry family members for many years. As our Lead Vet your day to day will include a balance of GP Small Animal Vet work – consults & surgeries, as well as Clinical leadership responsibilities – working alongside our dedicated Practice Manager to keep things running smoothly.

• You will work alongside our well skilled nursing team, who have worked at Flinders for many years. We’ve recently even had a nurse return to us after some time out of the industry. You know you’ve found a great clinic when your nurse turnover is basically non-existent and your previous team members return.

• Our homely clinic is well- equipped with 2 consulting rooms, treatment room, surgical suite, and prep room, along with diagnostic tools including CR x-ray and digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, and in house laboratory with toys such as EPOC and Coag.

• We offer opportunity to pursue areas of special interest, through a generous CPD allowance, paid study leave and complimentary access to the VetPartners Training Centre Qld.

• We also have a travelling soft-tissue and orthopaedic surgeon who can jump in on those complex procedures. Being a previous clinic owner, our travelling surgeon is well skilled and clinic-orientated and will work with you to provide the best care and outcomes for your patients.

• Conveniently located just off the main highway, making this location a cruisy 30minute commute West of the Brisbane CBD, Flinders View Veterinary Surgery is a great location for an experienced veterinarian, who wants to enjoy a work/life balance. What you can offer us:
• BVSc or equivalent, and registration to practice in Queensland
• A confident Veterinarian with at least 5 years’ practical experience
• A commitment to provide exceptional patient care
• Ability to oversee the caseload and work autonomously
• A strong team player who leads by example, being a warm, approachable people person with strong communication skills
