Part-Time Veterinary Nurse – Macquarie Vetz Animal Centre

About the Position

You’ll be joining a friendly nursing and vet team, providing high-quality animal care in a supportive small-animal practice environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• General nursing assistance in consults, surgery and anaesthesia

• Monitoring anaesthesia & patient recovery

• IV catheter placement & blood collection

• Patient care and hospitalisation

• Helping with day-to-day clinical operations

• Excellent communication with clients and team members

About You:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent experience)

• Previous experience in a small animal clinic

• Confidence with surgical support, anaesthetic monitoring and basic nursing duties

• Team-oriented, reliable and able to work efficiently in a busy clinic

• Compassionate, professional and service-focused attitude
