Vetwest Animal Hospital Bibra Lake is a wellestablished, vibrant clinic delivering a full range of GP veterinary services to the local community. Our newly renovated facility supports a collaborative team of 3 veterinarians and 4 veterinary nurses, all committed to providing highquality, compassionate care to every patient and client who walks through our doors.

About the Role

We’re seeking a Senior Veterinary Nurse to join our team in a fulltime capacity. This is a handson, senior clinical role with a strong focus on surgical nursing, anaesthesia, and patient care, alongside reception support when required.

You’ll play a key role in supporting our vets, mentoring junior nurses, and helping the clinic run smoothly day to day with autonomy, variety, and genuine impact.

What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting vets across surgery, anaesthesia, and patient care
• Delivering highlevel anaesthetic monitoring and postoperative recovery care
• Monitoring hospitalised patients and administering medications and treatments
• Assisting with diagnostics and maintaining accurate patient records
• Providing clear, compassionate client communication and education
• Supporting reception duties including bookings, payments, and enquiries when needed
• Mentoring junior nurses and fostering a positive, collaborative team culture
• Managing a varied and busy workload with confidence and care
No set roster flexibility within a fulltime role

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Veterinary Nurse (or equivalent qualification)
Minimum 3 years’ experience in veterinary nursing
• Strong surgical and anaesthesia nursing skills
• Confidence across patient care, hospital nursing, and reception support
• Natural leadership ability with a passion for mentoring others
• Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
• A calm, proactive approach in a fastpaced clinical environment
• A genuine commitment to high standards of veterinary care
