About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Casual Veterinary Nurse to support our team across surgery, hospital, and consult shifts as required. This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys variety and thrives in a busy clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting veterinarians with consultations and surgical procedures

• Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting peri-operative care

• Providing attentive inpatient and post-operative nursing care

• Supporting diagnostic procedures and treatments

• Delivering exceptional client communication and service

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the clinic

About You

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)

• Previous clinical nursing experience in a veterinary setting

• Confident in anaesthetic monitoring and surgical assistance

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A proactive, adaptable approach with strong attention to detail

• Availability to cover a variety of shifts, including potential weekends
