Join us as our Talent Acquisition Business Partner – Locum Recruitment, in a meaningful 4‑month fulltime role ideally commencing March 2026, where you’ll take the lead on managing our locum (temporary veterinarian) workforce across New Zealand. This hybrid position based at our Ponsonby support office in Auckland, promotes a work life balance and will see you coordinating the New Zealand locum veterinarian workforce, while also providing support to the Australian locum team and the New Zealand Permanent TA team. It’s a fast‑paced and varied role that is challenging, rewarding, and genuinely impactful.
What You'll Be Doing:
Partner with the business and our clinics to match locums to roles quickly and strategically, supporting both immediate needs and future demand
Support the full locum recruitment process from clinic requests through to booking confirmation
Manage and support our permanent roaming veterinarians through regular communication including social media, direct outreach, and email to keep them engaged and set up for success
Support locums with any additional travel/accommodation bookings where needed, making their experience seamless and stress‑free
Work closely with the business to help drive strong engagement and retention across our locum community
Design creative and engaging recruitment campaigns to attract local and internation locum talent
What We're Looking For:
Confident and agile in a fast-paced, customer-focused locum recruitment environment, managing competing priorities with ease
Highly adaptable and detail-focused, able to respond quickly to changing locum requirements while maintaining accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills, building trusted relationships with locums and aligning stakeholder expectations
Customer-centric approach, focused on supporting locums and delivering timely, high-quality recruitment outcomes
Recruitment experience essential; exposure to locum, medical or healthcare recruitment advantageous
Proactive and well organised, with strong planning skills to manage placements, timelines and compliance
Comfortable using recruitment technology and contributing to continuous process improvement
Knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and modern workplace practices (advantageous but not essential)
