Our incredible vet is heading off on an extended overseas adventure, so we’re looking for someone to step into their shoes and become part of our supportive, passionate team at Barkes Corner and Brookfield Veterinary Clinic in Tauranga.

Barkes Corner Veterinary Clinic is a spacious, well equipped and purpose-built veterinary hospital, with Brookfield our satellite clinic just down the road!
 
Our friendly team are passionate about healing, rehabilitating and protecting animals from illness, injury and pain. We have a range of quality facilities allowing us to provide medical, surgical, dental and emergency care to our patients.

We have the hospital facilities & equipment to provide a wide range of services and we are well known for supporting the special interests of our vets. We have lots of great equipment allowing us to work across the following areas and more;  

  • Soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries
  • Penn HIP
  • Dentistry (including X-ray)
  • Ultrasound
  • Full lab workup
You will be joining a strong and supportive team who enjoy working together and love what they do.   
We are looking for an experienced Small Animal Vet with ideally 3+ years experience to join our team, we welcome applicants of any experience level - the right team fit is most important. You'll also need:     
  • BVSc or equivalent recognised Veterinary qualification
  • Registered or eligible to register with New Zealand Veterinary Council
  • To be great team player, comfortable with routine surgeries and consultations
