Medical Oncology Registrar or Boarded Specialist
VetPartners Australia Pty Ltd is looking for a Medical Oncology Registrar or Specialist to join our growing team at Perth Veterinary Specialists located in Osborne Park, WA!
 
Who are we:
Perth Veterinary Specialists are one of Western Australia’s most established and largest private specialist veterinary practice with specialists and/or registrars in oncology, medicine, anaesthesia, surgery, dermatology, diagnostic imaging and an after-hours emergency service. 
 
The clinic is equipped with in-house haematology, biochemistry, electrolyte and blood gas analyser, a full diagnostic imaging suite (ultrasound, radiology, CT & MRI), fully equipped surgical suites and an endoscopy/rhinoscopy tower.
 
The oncology department has a dedicated pharmacy and fume hood, electroporation unit and access to external beam radiation. We have an Australian board-certified oncologist, registrar, interns and dedicated oncology nurses.

The clinic is located 10kms (6 miles) from the Perth CBD, 5kms (3 miles) from Scarborough Beach and 15kms (9 miles) from the iconic Cottesloe Beach. The picturesque South West, including the world renowned Margaret River wine region, and Rottnest Island (famous for Quokkas!) make for an easy long weekend away.  
 
The opportunity:
 
Remuneration package is competitive and negotiable. Flexibility in roster (full-time or part-time hours), CPD and leave benefits as well as visa and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
 
The ideal candidate will hold a DVM/BVSc or equivalent and have completed a recognised residency program in veterinary Oncology. You must also be eligible to practice as a Veterinarian in Western Australia and if boarded, be eligible for recognition by the VSBWA as a Medical Oncology Specialist through the ACVIM (Oncology), ECVIM (Oncology), or ANZCVS in Oncology. Consideration will be given to those who are Board eligible and scheduled to sit their examinations.
