The NSVH is situated on the Lower North Shore of Sydney and has a strong well-established client base. We have an outstanding group of team-orientated veterinarians who work together to provide excellent veterinary care in a fun caring environment. The group is closely associated with North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre, which is an expanding multi-disciplined Veterinary Hospital also located on the lower North Shore of Sydney. We have developed a strong culture based around a collaborative team effort to provide outstanding veterinary care to our patients.

Duties for the position will include but not limited to:

• Managing the roster for our nursing staff
• Implementing training and development strategies 
• Co-ordination of day to day operations for the nursing team
• Occasional clinical work (veterinary nursing duties)
• Involvement with the development of the annual financial budget for the nursing teams

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Veterinary Science Degree
• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing 
• Certificate in practice management or above
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• At least 3 years of experience in specialist and or emergency veterinary hospitals
