Description

Bamganie Pets Cremation Service is located in Lethbridge, a rural township 25km north-west of Geelong.     

Offering the highest standard of companion animal bereavement services, we operate our own crematorium and provide a dedicated collection service throughout Melbourne and Regional Victoria.    

We are seeking a trustworthy and compassionate staff member to join us on a Full Time Basis (min. 38 hours per week)    

This role is for someone who possesses a high level of emotional intelligence and can respectfully interact with pet owners and veterinary practice staff. You will have strong timekeeping practices and understand the importance of effective customer service delivery.    

We are seeking a team member who can perform the following responsibilities:    

  • Deliver returns to clinics and private clients, collect medical waste and perform ad hoc collections.
  • Cover leave/fill in for drivers, packagers and cremation team when required
  • Complete paperwork and identification checks accurately
  • Assist the cremator with production
  • Heavy Lifting involved
  • Basic Site/Yard Maintenance
  • Other duties as required by Bamganie Management

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:    

  • Physical fitness and ability to lift 5 - 25kgs regularly.
  • Organised with good attention to detail.
  • Punctual and well presented.
  • Calm, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
  • Self-management, including professionalism, loyalty, a positive attitude and respect.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to following procedures and working under strict safety guidelines.
  • Desire to achieve business results and contribute to team goals.
  • Able to work in a team and autonomously.
  • Hold a current Australian Driver's License with ability to drive manual.
  • Forklift License advantageous.
  • General handyman/mechanical capabilities/knowledge.
  • Sound technological ability.
