Ingleburn Veterinary Hospital are seeking an enthusiastic, client focused Clinical Lead Veterinarian who wishes to practice high quality evidence-based medicine in a fun supportive environment. You will have experience in clinical general practice, with a passion for mentoring your team. This role will involve a mix of consulting, surgery, and management responsibilities for the Primary Care team within the hospital.

Our facilities include but are not limited to digital surface radiography, dental radiography, iM3 dental machine, ultrasound, multiple anaesthetic units and multiparameter monitoring units, electrosurgery, Abaxis blood analysis units (Rem Vetscan VS2, HM5, iSTAT, Vue), urinalysis analyser, dedicated dog and cat wards, isolation ward, and four fully functional consult rooms including a dedicated cat room. We provide orthopaedic services through our hospital.
The role:
- Clinical lead veterinarian, seeing primary clinical cases both medical and surgical.
- Oversee training of the primary care Veterinarian team.
- Manage client complaints and issues both financial and clinical
- Be the line manager for GP veterinarians
- Assist with the performance appraisal of the GP veterinarians
- Assist with training of nursing and animal attendants when needed.
- Assist with the development and implementation of a marketing plan
About you:
- Bachelor or Doctor of Veterinary Science or higher
- 5 years+ Veterinarian experience
- Registration with the NSW Veterinary Practitioners Board as a Veterinary Surgeon
We are offering a great salary package for this opportunity $140,000- $150,000+ super depending on experience, as well as CPD allowance and study leave.
