The NEW Fawkner Vet is looking for an associate vet!

We’re looking for a permanent and committed associate vet to help drive positive changes and care for the pets of the Northern suburbs. 

• Do you want every weekend off?
• Are you passionate about creating positive experiences for your patients and their parents?
• Is communication your strong point?
• Does a diverse and busy caseload excite you?
• Do you like offering your opinion and having it taken onboard?
• Access to ongoing training (surgical workshops, ultrasound, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedic surgeries, etc) at a fully equipped and metro training centre.

We have a newly appointed Practice Manager, Lead Vet and Head Nurse here at Fawkner Vet (soon to be rebranded – exciting!!). They all have a passion for uncompromising high standard patient care, creating an inclusive and collaborative team whose mental and physical health is of paramount importance, and most importantly they are excited to come to work every day!

A few of the changes we are implementing to benefit everyone, including you, are:

• Clinic rebranding. Out with the old, in with the new and fresh! This will be a fun and collaborative chapter.
• Implementing fear free practices to improve the experience for our patients, clients and team members.
• Recruiting vets that have a passion for modern and high standard medicine.
• Purchasing new equipment – dental x-ray is on it’s way! (If you want to see what else we have, feel free to drop past for a sticky beak inside!)
• Improving staff work life balance. We run by appointment only and we’re only open Monday-Friday.
