VetPartners Australia is seeking an enthusiastic, patient care focused Part-time afterhours ECC Veterinary Nurse within our busy referral hospital North Shore Veterinary Hospital (NSVH). We are located in Artarmon, NSW.

Your role and responsibilities:
- Apply and adapt your clinical nursing skills to an emergency and critical care focused caseload, including but not limited to, blood transfusion therapy, mechanical ventilation, advanced catheterisation techniques (central, PICC and arterial), advanced monitoring, and triage/stabilisation of the emergency patient
- Work directly with ECC specialist, ECC speciality intern and ECC OOH vets and focus on delivering high-end patient care
- Use of Smart Flow system to assess and record patient vitals, identify and report abnormalities.
- Work as an integral part of the team in contributing to and partaking in continuing professional development.
Essential criteria:
- Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience. Alternatively, if you don’t hold a formal qualification, you will need to have a minimum of 3 years of employment experience.
- Experience in a specialty and/or critical care role
- Further training in an ECC nursing role is preferred.
- Experience using Ventilators is a must!
- Ability to work well within a close-knit team and adapt to changing work environments and schedules
- Flexible availability!
