About the Role
As an ECC Veterinary Nurse, you will apply and refine your advanced clinical skills across a diverse and fast-paced caseload. Working alongside our ECC Specialists, ECC Interns, and Out-of-Hours Veterinarians, you’ll deliver gold-standard care to patients requiring emergency and critical treatment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing advanced ECC procedures such as blood transfusion therapy, mechanical ventilation, central/PICC/arterial catheterisation, and advanced monitoring.
Triage and stabilisation of emergency patients.
Using the Smart Flow system to record patient vitals, monitor trends, and promptly communicate abnormalities.
Actively contributing to the development of the ECC department through ongoing professional learning and teamwork.
About You
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) with minimum 3 years of clinical experience.
Proven experience in a specialty and/or critical care environment.
Proficiency in the use of ventilators is essential.
Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to adapt in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
Further ECC-specific training will be highly regarded.
