Full-Time ECC Veterinary Nurse – North Shore Veterinary Hospital, Artarmon NSW

About the Role

As an ECC Veterinary Nurse, you will apply and refine your advanced clinical skills across a diverse and fast-paced caseload. Working alongside our ECC Specialists, ECC Interns, and Out-of-Hours Veterinarians, you’ll deliver gold-standard care to patients requiring emergency and critical treatment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing advanced ECC procedures such as blood transfusion therapy, mechanical ventilation, central/PICC/arterial catheterisation, and advanced monitoring.

• Triage and stabilisation of emergency patients.

• Using the Smart Flow system to record patient vitals, monitor trends, and promptly communicate abnormalities.

• Actively contributing to the development of the ECC department through ongoing professional learning and teamwork.

About You

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) with minimum 3 years of clinical experience.

• Proven experience in a specialty and/or critical care environment.

• Proficiency in the use of ventilators is essential.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to adapt in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.

• Further ECC-specific training will be highly regarded.
