Wallsend Vet Newcastle has been providing veterinary care to the community of Newcastle for more than 40 years! The dedicated Vet team at Wallsend Vet Newcastle works hard to keep your pet happy and healthy. The Wallsend Vet staff are devoted to working with both existing clients and new clients to provide high standards of veterinary care for our animal companions. 

This role is strictly school hours and suits someone looking to ease their way back into the workforce. The appointment schedule will be tailored to the successful candidate but will start with less complex cases to build confidence back in the clinic followed by training at our Veterinary Training Centre to upskill on areas of interest or complex procedures.
 
The role:
•    School hours only (No Weekends, No after-hours, No staying back)
•    Wide range of services: Small Animal GP/ Wildlife, Consults, Surgery
•    Great local community that is loyal
•    Flexible Hours – PT or Casual, with 1-5 days on offer
•    Opportunity to work at sister clinics nearby for additional mentoring.

What You Bring:
•    BVSc or equivalent, with registration to practice in New South Wales.
•    Commitment to Exceptional Patient Care: We strive for the highest standards of care in all that we do.
•    Ability to Manage Caseloads Independently: Oversee a diverse caseload and work autonomously when needed.
•    Excellent Communication Skills: Build strong relationships with clients and their pets.
