We are looking for a full time Receptionist to join our team !     
As a Receptionist at South Eastern Animal Hospital you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional client and patient care. The role is full-time, and we are happy to work with the successful applicant to help them achieve a great work-life balance.     
     
Key responsibilities include:     
• Execute, monitor, and lead all aspects of the reception.     
• Ensure communication is effective.     
• Customer service troubleshooting, including support for consulting and surgical bookings prioritising seeing urgent cases and/or deferring appointments when circumstances dictate.     
• Assist in developing and implementing checklists for the various reception roles.     
• Ensure the patient remains the focus at the core of all decision-making.     
• Create an environment that maximises the fear-free experience of all patients.     
• Provide support to veterinarians and nurses whilst always upholding the company values.     
• Maintaining information in Ezyvet     
• Assisting clients with pet insurance claims     
• Assisting Veterinary Nurses and Veterinarians as required     
• Greeting and managing clients and patients .     
• Client and patient data management.     
• Helping clients with OTC products such as flea, tick and worming treatments.     
• Managing multiple incoming phone lines and directing calls     
• Scheduling appointments and communicating booking requirements to clients     
• Communicating patient arrivals and emergencies to clinical staff     
• Finalising invoices, processing client payments and balancing the till.     
• Maintaining a clean and presentable front of house     
• Completing a variety of administration tasks

Qualifications/Experience     
• Experience as a receptionist.     
• Veterinary industry experience would be highly regarded.     
• Experience with ezyVet is highly regarded but not essential.
